How to apply for membership

For membership in the Academy for Hunting and Nature
we need the following application documents from you:

  • Informal, written application for membership
  • Form “Application for membership, incl. SEPA direct debit mandate” (available in German only)

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about membership of the Academy for Hunting and Nature

  • Once we have received your membership documents (in the original by post), we decide on the admission of new members at regular board meetings. The approval of our entire Executive Board is required for membership (see Statutes of Association § 5 ).
  • We will inform the applicant of the membership decision promptly by Email.
  • Membership is automatically renewed for a further calendar year if it is not cancelled by September 30 at the latest.
  • Membership ends upon death or expulsion. Further details can be found in § 7 of our Statutes of Association.
  • The membership fee of the Akademie für Jagd und Natur e.V. is € 100 for private individuals and € 200 for corporate bodies. The membership fee always applies per calendar year.
  • Depending on which half of the year you become a member, the full or halved annual fee is due for the current calendar year.
  • In the following year, the annual fee is collected in April.
  • For current memberships, the annual membership fee is usually collected in the first week of April of each calendar year.
  • The Akademie für Jagd und Natur e.V. is a registered non-profit organization. Our membership fees – as well as donations to the Academy – are tax-deductible in Germany.
  • For membership fees of up to EUR 300.00, the Academy membership fee invoice and the bank statement are sufficient proof for the tax office.
